There is a trailer dealership next door to me with a massive white wall, with a street light right above it, so naturally, I catch droves upon droves of stuff (and an occasional moth to the head...) I caught a handfull of these little guys, and I have taken a liking to them. I am 90% sure that they are assassins, but not sure what species or what to feed them (meal worms?) Sorry the pictures aren't so great, they wouldn't hold still long enough to take a good picture...(one actually took off in flight when i was taking the pictures :wall: )

GAH! sorry about the massive sizes! It was my first time posting the pictures, I usually just post links! :wall: Sorry, again :wall:

Initial resemblance to assassins is strong but those are predatory 'seed bugs' in the Lygaeidae, Rhyparochrominae.

Oddly enough the resemblance isn't only skin deep, they're predatory seed bugs and are the only seed bugs I'm aware of that aren't vegetarians.
