The leg will grow back little by little with the next 2-3 molts.

Nice new additions! :)

It likely is WC...but after a couple molts it should look pretty good. It has a voracious appetite lol.

It doesn't look bad, really just in need of a molt. I've seen much more beat-up Ts than that. One of mine, for example. ;)

The abdomen of the N. chromatus does look dark!

Do you know the sex of either of them yet?

Not yet Becca. I suspect the lividum will be big enough to properly sex after its next molt, and the chromatus sling is still fairly small...approximately 1.25".

Well, the N. chromatus molted, and grew its missing leg back! Yay! :D When I pulled the molt out, he/she told me it wasn't happy about it lol....first time any of my spiders have given me a threat display. It was rather cute lol.

lol! awsome! they're so cute when they get mean at that age!

H. lividum spend so much time underground, i've had some in that past that were CB and always looked nasty....

i mean... playing around in the dirt just has a tendancy to do that.

Yeah, my lividum stayed on the surface for a couple of days, but it recently started a burrow at the base of the clay pot in its cage. Mine isn't aggressive at all so far either...it seems every spider I have that is supposed to be "aggressive" hasn't been. Oh well, I'm not complaining lol. ;)
