anybody know the scientific name of a terrestrial one? i remember i've seen one from a book ages ago, and it looks flat and terrestrial

antlions? they are all terrestrial and larval forms of damselfly-like winged insects.

no, cooper, i mean the one that dozn't dig in the sand, just goofying around

I have never heard of a species that doesn't dig in the ground, do you have a link? I am interested.

sorry cooper, i don't have any links of that(i was asking for the scientific name at the prvious post!!)
i saw it in an Encyclopedia, and all i can recall is it's pretty flat and spiny...

sure looks eerilly like the critters they had in The Wrath of Khan. Bet they based those from ant lions...
