Alright I got a new camera and I'm getting the hang of it a bit lately.

Today I took some pics of my boyfriends (Sadistik here) spiders and this is what came out.
I'd like some feedback on what I can do to make them better.

Thanks in advance, Acid.

(made links because of the size)

B. albopilosum

B. albopilosum again

G. pulchra

[edit: the first and third are crops i might add, couldn't get that close  ]

Nice pictures. I would suggest cropping the second two photos just a bit. In the second picture of the B. albopilosum, I would crop out the right edge which shows the side of the enclousre. Without this in the picture, it will give the photo a more natural appearance.

In the picture of the G. pulchra I would crop just a little off of the top. The setae along the upper right edge give the photo a strange appearance. This is mainly due to the fact that they are simply floating there, since the leg itself is not visible.

Overall, very nice pictures.

Thanks all and thank you very much Windchaser for your comment! That sort of stuff really helps :)

My camera is a FinePix S5500 as shown on 2 of the photo's. I didn't use any additional lenses.

Again thank you guys for the nice replies and Sadistik for the models ;)

Windchaser's advice is good. It's always nice to make it appear as natural as possible. Though I have to say, even without the additional cropping, your pictures are spectacular. Will you come take pics of my T's? :D
