Dug up my P. murinus' last moult this morning to see if I could rehydrate it well enough to confirm my ventral sexing and got this shot under the low power objective on my microscope.
For anyone wondering what you're looking for on your OBT skins, here you go:

The specimen at the time of the moult was about 3.25" in LS, the area between the anterior booklungs was about 3-4 mm across, I believe low power on this scope is 40X.
Was any of that "that"? ;P

yes, thanks, i meant the area between the booklungsCorrection on my part, it was more like 5-6 mm. I was confusing the area where the spermathecae are with the whole span.

Must also add that the spermathecae arent always obvious, while they're the sure bet, the other thing to look for is the "flap", as males have neither.
