Trapdoor ID help

Hi folks
I just bought this little wonderful creature, only ID'ed as a Ctenizidae sp and I can't find any pics that looks like it.
It's WC from southern Africa (not very precise, I know), around 2" legspan.
The color is black, very short hairs, and there are grey markings on the legs, and the chelicera is grey as well. The fourth legpair is quite thick in the beginning, but thins out towards the last couple of segments.

I know it isn't uch, but I'd like to know just a little bit more about the spider.

Uhh, and it's extremely skittish and superfast. Haven't made any threats towards me but I definately don't want to put my fingers anywhere near it.

I hope that someone can specify it just a little more than Ctenizidae...

Hi,

i got some WC african Trapdoors last year wich looks very similar to yours. I dont think they are members of the family Ctenizidae.

The Spider on the picture below is a member of the genus Pisenor (family Barychelidae).

Uhh, yeah it looks alot like it, the same markings on the legs...

How do you keep yours? The guy I boughtit from didn't know anything about it because he just got it as a bonus when ordering some spiders.

Hi "noname",

i kept this species like other trapdoors as well. A good thing is, if you take a Volvic-PET bottle and fill it 80% with substrate. This substrate have to be pressed hard and a lillte hole could be pressed into the substrate before you enter the Spider. I keep them more dry then wet and more warm then low-temp.
So you make the beste conditions for your spider.
