Please help me identify this spider. It was seen in northern Quebec, CANADA. Thank you in advance.

it is defenitly a Araneidae- maybe a Araneus quadratus

looks like maybe what's commonly called a shamrock spider, which maybe is the Araneus quadratus banshee was talking about. i don't remember exactly...

IŽd call it a pale Araneus marmoreus.

A. quadratus does not occur in NAm, but its "sister species" A. trifolium which is commonly called "shamrock orbweaver" does.
