Heya all ... a friend showed me a video of 2 spider fighting together, and at the end of this video, he was sure to see a long sting on the abdomen of one spider, then I told him I've never heard of a true spider having a sting , soo I doubt it is a sting, maybe she is injured and its a liquid that come from his abdomen, and it looks a little like a sting when you look very fast and with a bad quality like the video was ....

but he tell me : dude its a sting nuttin else!!! he's 100% sure of it , and im 100% sure its not

soo my question, is there a species of true spider, having a pretty long sting (about 2 CM) on his adbomen ?

i am almost positive there is no spider with a sting on it's abdomen

some have very involved processes on their abdomen, and some can even move these processes... but it's not a functional sting in any sense

yeah and some posses some very long spinneret but in this video it was'nt the case

ok i've the answer. she was doing some web, thats only it, and with the bad quality it looks like a long sting, I was sure it was'nt a sting, thx all
