Well, a couple of months ago I attempted to breed my female D. faciatus with WhyTeDraGon's male. Much to my surprise, it was a successful attempt. Today I pulled the egg sac and now have lots of little 1st instar slings. I need to separate them out, but wanted to make the official announcement. I will be writing up a full breeding report in the next week or so.

Thanks! Mostly to Winchaser for making it possible! You know what the exciting part was? The fact that he never witnessed my male mate with his female, and only put them together for short periods of time, and only a few times, before the male got eaten! We thought for sure that was the end of our dealings, until the sac popped up! And even then, we thought it may still be infertile, but we kept our fingers cross and were optimistic about it!
And the great part for me is that this is my first successful sac, even though it's not from one of my girls, atleast my boy got the job done and I get to keep some of his children :D Never thought id have another C. fasciatum. :)
Also, thanks to BrianF for sending me the male, who he sent to me thinking it was a female, until it molted! lol. Never would have been possible without your mistake Brian! lol.
