View Full Version : Chromatopelma cyaneopubescens (Green Bottle Blue) Molt Picture

My Female Chromatopelma cyaneopubescens Molted yesterday.
I was wondering at what size are they considered mature ?
As you can see in her molt she was about 4". I think she is around 4.5" now, but that's just a guess. I'll have to wait for her to harden up before I can measure. She was a good girl and never refused food. Here are her molt record that I though I share:
1-7-05
2-14-05
3-31-05
5-18-05
7-21-05
11-12-05

Wow! Nice. My first thought was less kind, though. It was: How come my molts don't come out looking like that! Mine are all twisted and folded and often crunched!

Beautiful colors though. Now post a pic of the newly molted T! :D

I think I'll wait a few days before posting the after molt picture, as she is still quite fragile. ;)

i think the bigger the spider is, the less chances they will mess it up. I own all little ones, so i never get a chance to sex any of them =)

Ok. As requested here are the after molt pictures.
Does anyone know at what size the female is considered mature ? I'm just trying to guess how many more molts before she is mature.:D
