Q. Are tarantulas hard to handle?
A. No, they get used to people, and they're quite gentle.

I thought tarantulas couldn't get used to handling is what I have been taught.

They can get used to handling, specially if it is every day. Its when you stop that its bad, cause then they get used to their private space, and have no problem telling you that thats the way they want it to stay.
