My adult female L.mactans laid an eggsac about two weeks ago and I would like to know how small their babies are. I've heard they are about 1/18 of an inch long is this true? Also what should I feed them? Will they eat springtails?

Sounds right on the size. Very small, (although L.hesperus tend to be smaller). Fruitflies have been the staple of my spiderlings but springtails should be fine as well.
Two weeks....should be seeing some action fairly soon. Best of luck with that.
