I already noticed she has a weird behavior she "sits" on her abdomen like she is folded double and stroking her belly with her front legs. It looks like a boedha. I tried to take a pic of that but she saw me coming with the camera.
And of course the biggest problem I have read here i have too. She won't eat yet but I have patience
Congrats on your first spider, she looks really nice. I got my first in December and now I have 5. I converted my friend and he got his first a week ago, now he wants another. Looking forward to seeing your second! :D

I have already found a second from a breeder. I just don't know if it's to expensive yet.
It's a B smithi female around 1,5 inch and 20 euro (30 dollars but that's because of exchange rate and I paid around the same for my Rosea). I told him I needed a terrarium first and he doesn't mind to hold her with him a bit longer

From what I can remember 20 Euros = less than £20 right? If so I'd say that's a good deal, I got my smithi at 2.5" and it cost me £35. They are a very worthwhile T but be prepared to maybe not see it much till it gets a bit bigger, unless you construct a hide you can see into.
One thing though, I'm not sure how definite you can be that it is female at that size. If it IS female then that's a bargain. Even if it's male I'd still say go for it, but I'd be curious as to why he thinks it is female. Anyway enjoy and good luck with it :D

Congrats on your first T. My addiction was sparked by my 7 year old son's growing and strong interest in anything with 8 legs. So I brought the first Tarantula into the house about 6 months ago for him to admire. Then I just had to have one myself...and within the last week I have added 4 new ones. Good luck controlling your addiction LOL

I was also wondering if you could sex them that small but it seemed like a good deal to me too.
I have already started to look for housing and what they are like. I know it's all here on the web but any tips would be nice anyway!
I'm thinking to making my own terrarium as I'm quite handy. Otherwise I will just steal one from my university I think LOL. They have hundreds and nothings in them. Seems like a waste to me

Hai MissssSnape, I seem to find you everywere :D
Welcome here and very nice T you gor there
Smithis are very simple to care for. Mine is on 50/50 peat/vermiculite substrate which I keep bone dry with a water dish. He has a heatmat but they should be fine at room temp. Mine has a coconut-shell hide which, after he was not seen for 3 weeks, I relocated on it's side at the side of the tank so I can see in, and then just covered it with black paper to keep it dark for him. You can see what I mean here (http://tangeroo.nome.ca/pictures/animals/smithers-seehide.jpg/smithers-seehide.jpg).
I don't bother with particularly nice/expensive tanks for my small Ts, just plastic tubs or kritter keepers and then I will move them into nice tanks when they reach near adult size. I say if you can get a free one from your uni go for it :D

LOL we seem to hang out in all the same places. I am already thinking about a B smithi if it's not too soon. Can you tell me, is a 3 cm (female) €20 expensive or not? It's hard to compare with dollars and can you tell me the correct translation for peat moss.
I'm sorry but you are the only Dutch person I found here
and thank you SMOG
