Last year i got two adult AGBs at a pet store. One had quite a bit of red/brown between its segments, was missing quite a few legs, and pooped and sprayed defensive liquid mostly when i handled it. It died a few months ago . The other one, which is still alive, is an absolute sweety. It is about 7.5 inches long, and almost jet black. It has not sprayed me ever. Except for the color difference and that it had almost every leg, it looked identical to the reddish one. Today i got two AGBs because I want to breed my black one which is a female. The two new ones have the color description of the reddish one. I will try to get other pics up, but i have only one pic of the black one and here it is.
and here is a pic i took a while ago. The most visible one was the "red" one and the black one is underneath.
Is the black one a different species, or is it a AGB but with a little different color differentiation?
