This book covers cockroach biology, behavior and human/cockroach interaction. This is not a comprehensive, scientific type book, but rather a light hearted book about cockroaches.

That said, the book is a good read, covers the basics and does have a lot of interesting facts. The author has written 9 guides to North American wildlife and did his research to write this book.

I thought it was a fun read, but wouldn't call it complete.

There are a couple other books that are a lot like this one that I haven't checked out yet.

I thought it was a good book, but the author could have given more specific information on caring for different species, and keeping them as pets. Pictures of various roach species would be nice too. Otherwise I found it very helpful.

This is a fun book to have if you like roaches. But it is really just for fun, it isn't for the serious cockroach breeder as it is not going to identify species for you or give you tips on how to keep or breed specific species. It is cheap enough, however, that every cockroach keeper should have a copy around. There are plenty of laughs in there too.
