I was hunting for a wolf spider that I had seen while cutting grass when I came across this lady who was missing two legs and carrying a brood of baby spiders. Her legspan is about 1" when she spreads out. Also, do the spiderlings eat when the Mom does or do they need something seperate? Anyone ID this for me? Thanks in advance! http://i45.photobucket.com/albums/f100/lwbfl2/NewSpider.jpg

I think my spiderlings are eating each other. Do they feed on their own now or off the mothers kills? Also, do spiders grow their legs back?
