My cork bark hide is molding in serveral different spots and it is only the first week I have had this setup. I guess it is to be expected, but I was just wondering how you guys deal with mold and how harmful it can be. Thanks.

Mold is not good at all. See the replies in your other thread "non-aggressive subspinipes? sick?"

Get the moldy wood out and boil it, then put in in a sunny
place. Let more air into your enclosure.
Mold can really be a pain to get rid of.
I use a small PC fan to move the air around in my tanks,
I have it on the top of the box (tank) so the critters can't
get near it.
Is it possible to use a screen top?
Most of my set ups have a screen top. Others that need more
humidity are covered more. I made my own tops for those.
They are half (or more) screen and the rest is plexiglass with
a few holes drilled in it. (or not)
You have to experiment and see what works for you, as
everyone has different conditions.
Making your own tops and enclosures is much cheaper
than anything store bought, and there really is no limit to
what you can do, except for space. That is an area I am
limited in, so I make them so they can be stacked up:)
