catching purseweb spiders

hey all.im from connecticut usa and i believe we have pursewebs here.can anyone shed some light on where i should start looking for them?im not sure if ive even seen one here before lol.thanks in advance

Well, from what i know, hollowed out pieces of wood and bark. Please, inform us if you find any.

look for a long , camoflauged tube web against the base of trees in areas with soft, moist soil. might be kinda hard to spot.
