Heres a few pics I snapped of my lgst P nigriventer tonight , just for fun and cause he/she is getting so BIG, @ a hair over 3" now, about 5-6 mos old, I have 2 smaller about2-2.5"hoping to breed them but I'm haveing to grow them up so it could be a while yet, anyone know if these can be sexed by exuvium just like T's, or average lifespan for w/c specemine, enjoy the pics, they werent the ezest to get but worth it I think!! PEACE B.

Lovely spiders, mate. What sort of set-up do you use for them?

Did you get these as slings?

Heres how I keep the largest, It was just raised from about 1/2" in reg vials or deli cups like the others in the pics till about 2 mos ago and thats when I put it in the Lava Lamp as it started to look a little cramped in the lrg. vial I had it in, I drilled 4 ventilation holes around the neck about 2/3 the way up and one hole dircctly in the center of the bottom so I could insert a peice of wire to prod it out when I needed to clean it , or get pics I guess too!! although that was an after thought, it worked great , generaly I kept the substrate a bit damp as when I kept them drier the one pictured above actualy lost leg 2 in a molt, it took 2 molts and walla, leg looks great, verry impressive if not a bit intimidating, especialy in the grace w/ which they move, and speed as well!!, PEACE ALL B.

Good luck on raising them!
However they are not a entirely arboreal (more arboreal as slings and juveniles to become almost entirely terrestrial as adults) so id let them have a little floor space to roam around on eventually

I like your lava lamp set-up, that looks sweet. :clap:

How did you drill the ventilation holes in it?

@Reptist
Hi, I hope, you are not mad at me, because I thought, I can use your thread for posting a pic of my P. nigriventer ;-). I think this picture fit in this thread, too.
