Hahaha, I second this. Admittedly, it never really bothered me enough to pipe up and say anything, but it can be a bit pesky in a very subtle way.

It's true, a fluff post would do it. But cruise the forums long enough and fluff will drive you to your end. Don't you think we should try not to contribute to the mass quantities of fluff already prevalent here, on the boards? Eliminating a notice which inspires fluff (as DE3 pointed out), in addition to being sort of pesky, could be a good thing.
