Short video of wild L. mactans wrapping a grasshopper

While on the Missouri glades, my bro and I found this large 2" grasshopper get caught up in a widow web. We watched as the largest widow we've ever seen come dashing out. I had my camera in hand and shot a short video of the process. It only took about 10 seconds for the hopper to get completely immobilized. You can gauge the size of the widow against the grasshopper... she was HUGE!
