Red Jumpers!

I found these two red jumpers in the foot hills by a lake as I was wandering around with my goat! Ive never seen Red jumpers before!!! These really are pretty wee critters!! They have cute little grey green moustaches :D

My wife is partial to jumping spiders, especially the Phidippus group. She's photographed several local species of them - a few of which are bright red and black, sometimes with white markings as well. And metallic-looking chelicerae in shades of green and blue.

looks likea Phiddipus sp. perhaps Phiddipus insolens or an "Apache jumper" closest thing I could find! very nice spider! enjoy.
