Finally got out for some spiders.

Went out yesterday for the first time in months to look for snakes and came across some cool spiders. Most of my pictures are duds, i am horrible at getting pictures of the things....orb weavers are especially difficult for me...anyway please bare with the quality, unfortunatly i got no good pics of many species.

This is a particularily beautiful little girl. i brought her back and placed her on a plant in our yard, hopefully i can find it again to get soem better pictures.

This guy was about an inch and munching on a cockroach.

No idea what this was, it was about the size of a nickel. it only stuck around for 2 pictures.

Great pics! Love the Argiope and green lynx pics! I dont see the roach it was eating though... :confused:

ya haha, i was setting up the tripod while it was eating and trying out various settings. it is almost gone in that picture i think. not too soon after it finished it got scared off.

There are probably thousands of Nephila there, odly i didnt even think to snap a picture....
