Hi again,
This is a pretty, small orb-web spider. I'd say about 12-15 mm (legs incl.).
October, The Netherlands (east). Can anyone put a name to it?
Thanks,
André
Metellina segmentata or M. mengei [=Meta s/m].

Thanks NRF, I'll call it Metellina cf. segmentata.

Okay 2 votes to 1 for mengei, so mengei it is.
Thanks for helping me out Glen and NRF.

Next time combine your posts. One post..."please help ID these spiders" would work just fine. ;)

Sure no problem. I'm used to a diptera forum and they want me to post every species apart. I'll adapt to what you're used to.

That is just my opinion ...others may vary. ;)

I didn't vote for M. mengei! I can't distinguish between females of the two species. If Glen Southern can, please tell me how.

Hi NRF,
You got a point there. I'll change it to Metellina sp.

I can't. Guessing only. It looks like one I have here is all and I am not 100% which this one is. Mine/ours seem to have much darker band on the underside of the abdomen.
