Arachnocontest Rules And Regulations
Arachnocontests are only open to residents of the continental United States. Sorry to everyone from Canada and elsewhere, but unless you can provide an address in the US where we can ship to, we cannot accept your entries. If you reside outside of the US and do have an address that we can ship to in the US, you MUST state that in your entry post or you will automatically be disqualified. NO EXCEPTIONS. A simple "I have a US address." at the beginning of your post would be fine.
Winners will be ineligible for 30 days from any other contests or quickies.
The Arachnocontest will run for the time stated in the contest thread. Make sure your entries are in before any deadlines stated.

Only 1 guess per person, per picture. Anyone who posts in the contest more than once before a winner is announced or the contest ends WILL BE DISQUALIFIED!!! NO EXCEPTIONS!!!
The first person to guess any of the pictures correctly will receive 1 2nd place prize. (one 2nd place prize per person). The first person to correctly guess all 10 pictures, (or if no one guesses all 10 correctly, the person with the most correct answers) will receive the 1st place prize.
Editing your post is not allowed. Make sure you get it right the first time. If your post is edited, you will be disqualified from the current contest.
There are 11 prizes for this Convoluted Who Am Eye? contest.
1 1st place prize: A copy of "Giant Tarantulas: The Enthusiasts Handbook"
10 2nd place prizes: A copy of the Dec '06 issue of "Invertebrates Magazine"
The contest will run until 11:59 pm EST on Sunday January 21st, 2007. The winners will be announced on January 22nd, 2007.
All replies must be made in this thread only. Replies made elsewhere will not count.
Only Scientific Names will be accepted and they MUST be spelled out and spelled out CORRECTLY.
