post molt question

My B. smithi molted about 4 days ago, Is there any reason it would not talk food at this point? It runs away from the cricket, should I just wait a day and try again later?

How big is it? It's not going to eat a crick until everything hardens from the molt. Fangs included. A sling will take a few days to recover but a mature T can take few weeks or more depending on difficulties.

its about an 1 1/2" in size

Give it a few more days and try again. If it doesn't take the crick within a few minutes. Take it out becuase it's not ready. Keep trying every few days.

Yeah, an 1.5" probably going to want a week+ before it'll eat.
Just needs time to recover, outside and in.
