new to centa

Can a cetapede live in a sand substrate and im looking to get a good centapede but im not sure what kind

also i live on longisland and i've foud some relitivley small centapedes how big do u think this can grow

Hello again, longbord... you certainly are full of questions lately...

I would never put a centipede on sand... something like a peat/vermiculite mix or even one of the commercial mixes like Bed a Beast or Jungle Mix would be much better...

The centipedes you would find in LI would probably never get larger than 1.5" or 2" ... probably common Stone Centipedes..

should i use peat for that one too
