I just found this little guy/gal on the wall of my bedroom about 20 minutes ago. At first glance, I thought it was a typical Crab Spider, but I can clearly tell now that it's not. The eye arrangement is all wrong, and the behavior is very different. This is the fastest spider I've ever encountered, and not a very cooperative photographic subject at all! It's quite small, slightly less than one inch across the legs, but has that overall Huntsman "look". I've never caught any spiders like this where I live, which is northeastern South Carolina.

Eyes and abdomen configuration/shape say Philodromidae, different family from Sparassidae which is where Heterapoda is.
