ID this spider

I found this out in the woods last month when it was warm. I'm thinking it may be a juvenile Dolomedes tenebrosus since it looks a lot like my adult. However, it is much smaller than Dolomedes. Current leg span is about 1". It has molted once in captivity but didn't grow much.

My daughter thinks it's a similar looking but smaller species of some sort. Sorry no good eye shot.

Hrm. Definitely looks Dolomedes to me, but the patterning is throwing me off from saying tenebrosus with confidence.

With its smaller stature, is it male? ;)

If it is male, it has not yet matured.
