i have been thinking of doing that with mine once she complets her molt. i have an extra 45 gallon tank setting empty.
have you decided how to devide it yet. i keep running different ways through my head but cant really decide how i want it yet.
good luck, will be an interesting project.

i am thinking of making a plexiglass divider that will extend downward from top soil level at about a 35-45 degree angel to allow ease of access for the T , sorta liek a wheel chair ramp and make some aquarium silicone gripper beads across it to give traction. and install it with aquarium silicone . then run tubes from the water side straight out of the tank thru a BIO augmented trickling filter and back into the tank to hopefully treat an aerate the water. then add some feeder gold fish or maybe somethign more colorfull.
At least if the T dosent eat them it will be a cool display lol
never thought of making beads for grip. sounds like a good idea. i was thinking of caoting it and then spreading aquarium gravel on it. the gravel would be much harder to clean i would think.

i would think just silicone beads on it would be sufficient.
i just have this feeling that if i go to all the trouble and put her in it the first thing she will do is fill it up with dirt. i have also been thinking of making a complete separate unit that can be removed for cleaning and such. less time in the tank plus it would make cleaning so much easier.
plus if i want to remove it permanantly it would be much easier.
