So tonight while I was feeding my T's one of the crickets got away and jumped to what it thought was freedom...I found it, and promptly fed it to my pokie.

While I was searching for the cricket I found this guy really low by the base boards and carpet next to my T's. What the heck is it?

I dont think I have ever seen anything that had quite this same body shape...very intersting...so I stuck it in a 32oz container and am very curious as to what, where, and how they live their lifestyles. Any info or help would be appreciated. Thanks guys/gals!

Wow, I just read what I could find on it and they seem very interesting. Anyone know the requirements for keeping these guys alive in captivity? I just found info on how they trap prey...not much on habitat or anything. This is really a freaky looking spider, and I am glad I noticed it chillin down there.
