This is our desert blonde... Marylin is an adult female, and we added her to the collection August, 2013. She is 5", and is currently in a not-so-attractive pre-molt. This photo is from December.
She is also moody, and not at all handleable.
This is our beautiful adult female. She molted three months ago, and is almost 6" dls. We purchased her as a sub-adult female from a reputable local shop July, 2013. She is your typical Acanthscurria, with attitude a'plenty. When I fill her water dish, she runs to it and tries to bite the water...
So I started keeping 5 T's in January of 2013 to complete my last project from my counselor for working through my arachnophobia.
I now have 86, and there will be more. I have a wholly new found respect for these creatures, and I figured that since I had stuck with the hobby for about 16 months now, I would start documenting the collection better. I have had some losses, two were due to my inexperience, one was old age, and the other was a rescue that didn't survive.
