(wish I had filmed this) Using a pair of plastic tongs I held a cricket maybe an inch or 2 away from my Avicularia Avicularia (named Havoc) and upon a slight touch from it's antennae, Havoc jumped on to my tweezers and the cricket then leaped off again on to a nearby bit of wood carrying with it of...

Do anybody you have 1.5-2.5" P. Met slings that hide for more than a week during premolt/molt?
Mine has webbed a thick hide between some fake foliage and cork bark and I cannot rightly see in to check.
Only in the last molt did I see this, and I am wondering now if the little bugger is...
So I've had this little H. mac sling for several months. Upon acquisition, he immediately dug a hole and disappeared...but there were signs he was in there: entrance hole, a shed outside of the hole a coule months ago, missing crickets, some webbing, etc. For the last several weeks these signs had...
My G rosea has been super active today digging out the burrow i started for her when I built the enclosure. She's actually putting down a thin layer of web over the sub she wants removed, then just pulling on it and balling it up and removing it. It is pretty cool to watch, usually when i get close...

So I went with my mother shopping today and when I came in I looked in my G. rosea's cage to see one of its legs raised. I was shocked when I got to the cage to see it on its back molting! I can't believe it! I'm so excited. So now a question.
Besides no crickets in the cage and not flipping it...
Apologize if this was posted before, but I just saw an update on it. Spider-inspired robot. The motions are amazing. Of course, I think most of this still prefer the real thing...
Got a good deal on a P. Striata a while back and have been meaning to get a pokie anyway so I snatched it up. Really loving it so far. Very fast and active sling and actually watched it snatch a cricket out of mid air the other day as I dropped it in its enclosure. Anyway I was just curious if...
