Description by Sirrush

Sirrush

This is an emperor scorpion that is for sale at the pet store where I work. He has a weird deformity on his stinger, and his sides are a reddish color. He does not hide during the day, when the white light is on. Any thoughts?

Maybe the bump is a parasite under its exo, and the parasite is causing the other 2 symptoms. Btw, this is a guess, I don't know much about scorps, so if I'm wrong, I warned you (haha). But nobody else was saying anything so I figured I'd give it a go.
