[SIZE=4][/SIZ what one species of tarantula do you think is underated and you would like to see more of in the hobby. My pick is a.hentzi. in my experience
I own a P. murinus, G. rosea, and Euthalus sp. blue, and they get fed twice a month. as far as I'm aware, the rosie and blue beauty are mature females,
Suppose to be a genic, but my female genic wants nothing to do with him, and likewise he wants nothing to do with her. He's built several sperm webs,
It was while I was at work so the old exo was brittle by the time I got home, but I'm so proud. He's so much darker and fuzzier now. Good job, Alan!
Just curious at about what size do Singapore Blues have their mature molt? I would like to finally sex my Singapore blue but of course its nice and aggressive
My lividum are always out, waiting for something to eat. They can be feisty, but it's almost always when you're doing something you shouldn't be.
Actually the best design I've seen so far is probably the one sold by Jamie's Tarantulas
No need to worry. That's how I feed mine.
great post! I would much rather see this species in petstores being offered as great beginner species over the g.rosea/porteri.cb that is.
Spiders can vary wildly in size within a single species. Some get huge, some stay small. Happens with all arachnids, actually.
The most underated to me is the A. hentzi. They are native to my area and are the ones that got me interested in tarantulas since I saw them all the time
