So after a year and a half my very slow growing B. boehmei sling is finally showing adult colours and he/she is beautiful.
Nothing wrong, leave it alone. People way over think the behavior of their critters, me included at times.

I had a p Metallica sling disappear through its air holes before, luckily I found her 30 hrs later. She was kept on a bathroom counter( warmest room )
haha yeah, as a matter of fact, she is closing up her hide where she normally always just sits in the open.
