Any recent pictures of the blue femur female Eric?
That one was only taken 2-days ago, so it's pretty recent :)

I have 5 of those here... 3 females and 2 immature males.

I'm not sure if the color difference is simply due to changes over the molt cycle and/or age of the spider, or if I have 2 different species. I'll try and get pictures of all 5 of the specimens I have. The one above is the only one showing the brilliant blue right now. And when you shine a light on them, they are blue and blue can be.

Here's 2 spiders purchased as Coremiocnemis sp. "Malaysian black"

Eric
Hi Eric,

Any updates on these guys? Especially from a taxonomic point of view?
I recently bought 2 spiders labelled as Selenocosmia sp. Unfortunately the seller had no locality data, but they came with a shipment of scorps that may be from Malaysia. And one of mine looks remarkably similar to your brown specimen. do you think they could be the same thing?
Pictures of my specimens can be seen >here< and >here<

Best regards,
Sietse

She came out pretty! ;)
So is it fair to assume that the blue specimen is likely a different species?

Hi Chris,
Yes, the form that got exported was C.tropix "DWARF".

Please PM me, I have a request for you :)

The "blue" specimen I pictured on a previous page molted recently, and is a female... about an inch larger in leg span now and just as blue as ever. I have similar sized female "brown/black" specimens so I'm guessing I have 2 different species here.

Female Coremiocnemis sp.
