Thanks, had I thought about it I may have used the zoom instead of getting so close, but thinking correctly at 4am isn't the easiest some times. {D

True, but you sometimes risk picture quality when zooming.

I need to get good pics of our G. rosea enclosure. She's got a two story ant-like tunnel system right now. She has pulled up so much dirt she has buried the plants and the room from substrate to lid is maybe a couple of inches. It's been pretty fascinating watching her re-landscape.:D I will never understand why people call G. rosea a pet rock...........

Thanks all. :)

Haha Teal, with my luck the next one I try it with is an angry P.Regalis. XD

Curiousme get pictures! I know what you mean, my G.Rosea covered everything, had to dig for the water dish. Although now that she has her burrow she acts like the H.Lividum, stays in burrow 90% of the time and really deffensive. XD

One time, I didn't realize just how close I was getting to Rise, my female P. chordatus, until she nearly struck the camera

I started paying closer attention after that :embarrassed:
In addition to not wanting to get tagged, I wouldn't want anyone to break a fang on my camera!

Very nice pics. I like your cobalt alot too.
I just got a singapore blue today.
I've done alot of reading on them and I've had one versicolor.
I was just wondering if anyone knew more about them, or had/have one,
tell me anything I need to know?

Wow, I really like the set-up for that G.rosea, may need to buy some more cork bark, and do something better with my G.rosea.

There are a couple of little succulents in the right front corner as well with a light on them. She like to hang out under the light, but she has all but buried the plants right now.:D Her tank has been changed multiple times and we haven't found a good fit yet, but I think she is just gonna fix it herself............... We will eventually be taking some of the peat out that she has piled up, because she has very little headspace at this point.:)

the ROCK

I will never understand why people call G. rosea a pet rock.
Mine is notorious for just sitting in one spot and not moving for weeks on end, kind of like a rock. Probably why they sometimes fast for so long and take forever to molt sometimes as well - not moving saves energy and wear and tear.;)
