emerge among the Australian tarantulas. As much I would love to buy every one of them, it would be expensive and since these tarantulas are average to large size-wise considering their individual needs it would be a very irresponsible thing to do to myself. Probably buy three at the most or buy a pair of one or two species and hope I score a female outta the deal.

Opinions?

I have 8 total at the moment and are all slings so I cant tell much about them yet. I really like the P sp "Eunice" so far but all of them are cool. About the most voracious eaters I have seen so far, even more so than any of my Africans

I don't know if this helps but here http://www.austmus.gov.au/factsheets/tarantula.htm
I especially love the story here http://www.thedailylink.com/australiantarantulas/species/plumipes.html

I hear they get a rather "large" six inches fairly toxic. Very rare as well, your right, could get expensive but if you got the room and the coin (and experience with the more defensive species) go for it.

Seriously though, I'd go with one or two after some good research and reasonable pricing. And yes, as always...Now I want one!!!:wall:
