Found this fellah on my left car mirror on the way to work, had to pull over and catch him. Nifty bugs, I think I'll keep it.

That's awesome! I'm so jealous of everyone that gets native phasmids.

Not sure on the North American species, but a lot are parthenogenetic (virtually all females that lay eggs upon reaching maturity). In the speces where males exist, they're typically a lot smaller than the females.

They are pretty cool. I find these guys pretty often here in MO.
