Hi all,

Here I am again, showing off my favorite of all favorites.
This is the second time that he molted since I got him, and he just amazes me after every molt...

Here is a pic of him after his second last molt, munching down on a juicy mealworm:

And this is him after his last molt, which was yesterday...
As you can see he lost his neat pattern on his abdomen, but he got a lot bigger! And even the black with the few lighter colored hairs look cool :).

You may find that although the abdominal pattern seems to have gone, it may still be visible (although quite muted and faint) once it fattens up again. When my 2 P. nigricolors lost the bright orange, I observed the zig-zag pattern was still apparent even 2 instars after it "seemed" to go away. (I hope that makes some sense..:confused:)

They grow up so quickly....

It astonishes me how much platyommas grow and change with each molt. Nice pics, Dennie.
