Nice pic Nastya!

It is even hard to say which one doesn't have this "sheen"...

Agreed. I've seen absolutely stunning metallic purple on fasciata, formosa, miranda, ornata, regalis, rufilata, subfusca.....

Which one has the most will depend on individual specimen.

Both me female and my male P. Regalis have a purple sheen to them, but the female so much more so! I think just about all of them do...

Under the right lighting you'd be hard pressed to find any Poecilotheria that won't show a purple sheen somewhere on it's body.

My pretty ornata lady

Most of them indeed have a purple sheen on them, but it can be different between individuals

I agree the purple sheen is not limited to one species. :) Goodness! This is really turning into a purple pokie appreciation thread.

I need a purple pokie! I just decided that today.

I told this to my roommate and her response was, "I really don't think "tarantula" and "need" belong in the same sentence."

:?
People who don't get it are funny.

At least my girlfriend understands why I need all the pokies :worship:
