Mealworm beetles...

I noticed that some of my mealies are starting to turn into beetles.
Is it ok to feed these to my Emperor? He's still just a juvenile. Will he eat them?

I fed one of those beetles with pincers to my emp once.

The glorious crushing sounds echoed through my room.

typically most things will not eat them as they are mildly noxious

& they produce a pungent smell as defense. make sure your window is widely open for some fresh air...

Well it was a success. It took a while for my scorpion to get used to the thing being there. He kept following the beetle around and couldn't seem to catch it, so I turned it on its back. I noticed later in the night that my scorp had dragged the beetle into his hide and was devouring it head first :rolleyes:

yes they will eat them my 2 would just grab them and eat it and it was just fine :drool: :} {D ~~~~ PHIL
