Sold only as Scolopendra Subspinipes, and is supposed to hail from the Philipines. What is this? The teminals look pretty huge..Classic De Haani?

Subadult, 15 euros, shipping not included.

there is another species from the philipines that that kind of reminds me of


if it is a S. subspinipes you can check dehaani vs S. s. s. by looking on the underside of the terminals at the segment closest to the body. dehaani have no spines on the underside but Sss's have 1-3

Hmmm ok, well I haven't bought it. Not yet at least, it's too damn similar to my De Haani I guess. So you don't mean the spines visible on the "sides" in this photo, but on the dorsal side.

yeah, not the spines visible... you need to get under the pede or have it do a "terminal leg threat display"
