just kidding. Keep them like H. mac, essentially. Their temperment is fairly similar, perhaps a little more defensive.

As far as I'm concerned the even most arboreal T's(whatever that means) will burrow at times, especially when young. Just give it dirt and corkbark.

Neither are "semi-arboreal", they are arboreal.

I have four H. maculata slings right now, they are showing no terrestrial/burrowing tendencies at all. My two adults I had previously were almost never on the ground. Strictly arboreal.

I have 6 H. mac slings and its 50/50 on whether they burrow or make arboreal retreats. The ones that burrowed went right to it, no hesitation. In the wild they may be strictly arboreal, in captivity all bets are off as to what kind of behavior an animal will display.
