strange stance

the little guy has been standing like this a few times lately, any idea why?:confused:

Looks a bit like stilting.

What kind of substrate do you use and what are the temps and humidity?

I use a mixture of sand and dirt that the breeder give me, temps seem ok i keep 1 side of the tank warm and the other cooler. With this substrate i can see that it is moist. Humidity seems fine too

Never seen substrate like that, I always use cocopeat or similar substrate so they can dig a burrow etc. But if the humidity and temps are ok, I'm guessing on stilting.

I'd change your substrate to cocopeat/sand mixed 50/50 to allow for burrowing and better humidity.

And yeah that looks like stilting. It's basically to provide better ventilation around the body, and so cool off a little.
