Interesting Australian spider with a tail

I photographed this spider several years ago. It was perched on a web it had made on a cactus in the Adelaide Botanical Gardens in South Australia. Oddly enough, after some time in my presence, the 'tail' began twitching. With regards to identification, would anyone have any ideas as to the genus or even the species?

Wonder if that could be Tetragnatha or Cyclosa?

I'd go nutz if I had but a few days to wander around down there ...hell set me down anywhere there on dry land...just for a couple hours. I'd find spiders that would blow me mind!

    Hi.

    It is an Argiope.
Appears to be A. protensa, the tear drop spider.

    Not Arachnura

Absolutely, looks just like everyday normal Argiope with the exception of the elongated abdomen. I guess everything is weirder in Australia!
