Very sweet spider :) I remember the first time I held my first T, my heart was beating so fast. I don't really hold any of them much but I have a few who are chilled out enough for me to do it and it's nice to know you can if you want.

I know what you mean about the increased heartbeat! Now, I am way more relaxed when I handle my Ts.

Btw interesting spider you have there.

Congratulations!
For me, the greatest part of keeping T's is handling them. I LOVE playing with my juvie G aureostriata!! He is such a sweet goofball! So used to me now that he/she never wants to go back to his little burrow.

My first handle was a wild T here in AZ. I was so amazed at how gentle it was. It's always a thrill with a new one since I never know how they will react to me and I've not been tagged but then I don't pick up my H lividums:eek:

Way to Go!!:worship: :worship: :worship:

IMHO dudes, never handle T's. If you take an allergic reaction to the venom if you get tagged, you'l be right up s!@t creek wont you? Better safe than sorry I say. Also, how un-natural is the human hand for a T to walk on? My point exactly

clearly if it didnt like being handled then it wouldnt walk slow even a G.rosea would run if it didnt want to be picked up IMO
