Substrade dryness, misting, humidity, and how deep of burrowers are they?
yayy for no burrowing lol, aht about humidity? and how often u mistI have had three Costa Rican Zebra or Aphonopelma seemani and none of them made a burrow they did push their bedding and everything else including their water dish all of the place but no matter how much substrait I gave them mine didnt burrow.:?
damp substrate then? or kidna inbetween damp and dryI try to match my individual T's natural environment. Many of us here do, some do not. I also give them spacious enclosures. My A seemani does burrow btw, that's how he got the name "Digger." I keep him moist. He was in pre-molt for about 4 weeks and the day I finally decided to give him more humidity he molted.
Ight, im buying a 2inch one for $17 this next weekDamp and ok to let dry out in between re-wetting to avoid mold.
Atm the substrate is wetish ---> damp by the time i get her it will be perfectI have a 2" with about 5" of substrate and it burrows all the way to the bottom regularly. For humidity I overfill the water dish occasionally.
