I received part of my order from <insert seller's name here>, and this is the H. gigas I received:

Thoughts on species? I know it's a MM. This was a surprise to me as well.

Maybe 4" long tops.

Thanks.

I think thats too much hair in total for it to be a H gigas seeing as how they arent new world Ts which mean they should more likely than not be smooth like my Chilo species.

That looks to me like it would be an avic species def not a H gigas in my opinion...:?

Reminds me of a mature male Avicularia, or something close to that. Definitely not H. gigas. Did it come from a reliable source that might have just had a stock or shipping mixup?

If you were getting a Hysterocrates gigas, they were WAY off. That, to me, looks like T. gigas. And a MM at that.... :wall:

Mature male T. gigas. I'm confident in that.

I saw a certain banned member post a picture of T. gigas (not yet a mature male though) in the classifieds awhile back and had it labeled as H. gigas...

What's the T stand for?

Your certain banned member was most likely who I got it from.

Pretty sure I saw that in the 'genus hysterocrates' thread.
I checked there before posting.

Oh, they're not replying to anyone who they've screwed over, so I've heard. I have more beef than just this.

Hopefully someone has a female I can get him with before it's too late.

Thanks guys.

Sure, ship him my way.

I could actually use a male right now... send me a PM.

I'll do my best to get you some slings... then your negative becomes a positive :)

Haha then I just saw too many of them and got them confused. :p

No big deal. :) Good picture, by the way.
